30 Day Photo Challenge – Day 9

Today’s challenge was to photograph something from a distance. This is the best I’ve got today, Nick from two rooms away:
I did try something new: using a reeeally shallow depth of field from really far away. It was hard to focus on Nick since I couldn’t see him very well in the viewfinder, but I got close enough for it to look okay. Hopefully that technique enhanced the “far away” effect a little bit?
Tomorrow’s challenge is whatever I want!
