Drawing Update
Friday’s drawing was more work on my photoshop portrait, didn’t get very far, haha.
I’m working on the story for Nick’s Starfox game, so this was semi-inspired by that =) A cool lady space fighter pilot. This one was 30 minutes.
I started to draw a boring boy face with no expression cause it’s the easiest thing to draw, and then I decided to scrap that and start over with something more dynamic. Even though this is still kinda boring/not so good, I’m still proud of it because it’s the kind of drawing I’ve started a million times and then never finished. I’m happy I actually drew out her legs and shoes and such =) And there are a few more details than my normal drawings like this. I think I’m getting a little better with hands. And profile faces! I wish I could figure out those darn sailor skirts though, mine always end up with giant pleats and look weird…
Anyway, I’m proud of myself! I’ve made $6 so far! =) And it hasn’t really been hard too sit down and draw, I’ve actually been having a lot of fun! I’ve just been trying not to think to much when I start a drawing, and just going with the flow. Sometimes I end up with a boring blank-faced boy, but mostly I’ve ended up with actual full-body figures in interesting poses and such! With Saturday’s drawing, I tried to make my lines really clean like a comic book cover or something, but it was so frustrated and wasn’t working, so I gave in to my sketchy “style” and will probably keep drawing like that for a while =)

Do I smell a character theme coming up…? XD
