Happy Thoughts
04.12.2010
I was in a sad mood all day yesterday, and didn’t get a blog post written, so today I will make a list of things that I am happy about!
I am happy because…
- Nick and I had a great weekend together with his brother, Mike. We ate lots of delicious food, played through Heavy Rain again, and spent our first afternoon downtown in Austin.
- today was trash day, so our smelly trash is gone and the apartment will smell good when we get home.
- it is supposed to storm all week starting tomorrow, but for now it’s beautiful outside.
- I’m wearing a big ugly sweater today, so I’m not as cold as usual at work.
- I started my period but I don’t have any cramps yet.
- there will be a new episode of Lost tomorrow night and *spoiler alert, highlight the following text to read:* Desmond is back in the show! He’s our favorite =)
- the apartment is way cleaner than it was before Mike visited.
- Nick gets his first paycheck soon, and when he does we’re going to buy a Tempura roll from the supermarket to celebrate.
- I feel optimistic about getting back into a productive routine after work starting today.
- I finally got to see the new Alice in Wonderland movie and I really enjoyed it.
- life is good.

Yay for happy thoughts
and glad your sad mood is over. This is indeed a good list of reasons to be happy. (and clever way of hiding the spoiler alert, haha)
PS you know what’s funny? I actually met Nick’s brother recently! Mike is my good friend’s boyfriend’s roommate so we ended up hanging out in the same group and I thought he looked really familiar haha. So I ended up finding out his last name and if he had a brother Nick, and lo and behold. Then I was like, I was at your brother’s wedding! So we talked about you and Nick
and the Japanese 202 movies (hahahah), etc. Just kinda crazy how small the world is. Exciting that you guys all got to hang out in Texas!
Mike told us about that! Haha. It really is a small world! We mused about the smallness of the world for several moments after that =)
Do you watch Lost at all? Nick and I are totally obsessed… we watched all of it in like a month and now we’re watching the new season as it comes on. It is excellent for the lover of mysteries!
Actually I don’t watch Lost! -_- (Honestly I probably have way too many TV shows on my plate to add Lost to the list right now.) But I mean, it seems like anybody/everybody who watches it is totally obsessed haha. It also seems like a LOT goes on. But now that I have your and Nick’s endorsement, maybe I’ll catch it eventually.
